I've been divorced since 2017. For a long time I wasn't looking for anyone else - still had 2 children at home doing exams and needed time to lick my wounds.

Signed up for OLD towards the end of 2019 but covid put paid to any chance of dating - and daughters came back home from uni too.

But I recently took the plunge again and have found a lovely guy. I know it's very early days but so far so very good.

Me - firmly middle aged
Him XH - slightly younger (but not much!)
3 young adult children

I'm really happy for you! It's so hard to put yourself out there. Hoping that everything continues to go well.

Have fun!

I'm happy to see you didn't give up smile !! Here's to a wonderful new beginning...you deserve it!!!

A "perfect marriage" is just two imperfect people who refuse to give up on each other.

With God ALL things are possible (Matthew 19:26)

I AM happy again...It CAN happen!!!

Those early months in a NB are so much fun - enjoy!

Please make sure you keep yourself safe (verify they are who they say they are, etc). I am sure you are but just a reminder since it is so easy to overlook little things during that exciting stage.

Fingers crossed for a great NB for you!
