My brother has had the same friend since kindergarten. This guy had been an adopted brother of mine. Part of our family. He's an amazing man!

A few years ago he required a kidney transplant.

A few days ago he ended up in the hospital. I just heard today that tests reveal his body is suddently rejecting his new kidney.

So I'm requesting the amazing healing energy of SI.

Thank you smile

Dragn, so sorry to hear this. What are his chances to get a new donor kidney? I know the waiting list is usually long.

I am a full body donor and I'm a big advocate of donating.

Oh so sorry to hear about this.

Here’s hope that somehow this will reverse. That whatever is causing the rejection will resolve itself or be resolved by drs. I don’t even know if that is possible.

What are his chances to get a new donor kidney?

I don't know the answer to this. I know he did wait a long time for this one.

He said there's still a chance to save the kidney. He's been started on anti rejection medications, steroids and some sort of plasma.

Now we wait.

I spoke to him today.

He cannot have any visitors due to covid protocols. Totally sucks.

He's in good spirits. Says he's got to get better since he's got to much life to live and to many people left to piss off laugh

He's had so many offers for a new kidney (including mine). So if things go south there's at least an army of friends and family willing to step up.
