Does she have a lawyer? They should be able to refer one.

She does, BUT her husband died and her step children don't want her to have ANYTHING. They are selling off assets left and right. She has an attorney but he thinks she doesn't need a forensic accountant, just a private investigator! Her husband had tons of land and they have tied everything up out of spite!

There's a firm in Utah (but they are a nationwide firm) called DHF Forensics. The owner is an ex-FBI forensic accountant and very no nonsense.
