Hi everyone, hoping for some recommendations for a book that is best for a couple to work through together. Preferably with exercises that we can do.

I'm 5 months out from DDay and we are both in IC and MC so it's really to compliment the therapy.

Thanks in advance, there are so many books out there...

I highly recommend the following books to help with improving communication, creating emotional intimacy and strengthening your attachment bond:

An Emotionally-Focused Workbook for Couples by Kallos-Lilly and Fitzgerald

What Makes Love Last by Gottman and Silver

10 Lessons to Transform Your Marriage by Gottman, Gottman and DeClaire

The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work by Gottman and Silver

Gorman wrote a book about recovering from infidelity. It has lots of exercises for couples. Good book. Didn't save my relationship, but it is practically a "how-to" recover from infidelity.

Sorry for the typo in my post above. It was supposed to say Gottman, not Gorman. The book is called What Makes Love Last: How to Build Trust and Avoid Betrayal.
