Hello, sorry if this topic's been covered before.

As the thread title states, I am a WS who failed to save his relationship with his ex-BS. It's over.

Most of the recommendations I come across are geared toward those who are trying to repair their relationships with their BS. Sure, there's got to be good stuff in there, but I'm just wondering if there's anything more specifically geared toward my situation.

I am a betrayed spouse, but Bruce Fisher's Rebuilding when your Relationship Ends is good for either. It works through the emotions of divorcing, as well as describing healthy vs unhealthy relationships.

Him: exWS (b. '76)

2 kids: 2011 and 2014
Separated (no divorce required for common law couple in my jurisdiction)

If you are looking for books that will help you to work on yourself here are some that I recommend:

The Gifts of Imperfection, Daring Greatly and Rising Strong by Brene Brown (excellent books about shame and vulnerability).

Don't Bite the Hook, The Places That Scare You, When Things Fall Apart by Pema Chodron (perspectives on various emotions and how to work with them)

The Journey From Abandonment to Healing by Susan Anderson

These are all good ones to start with, IMO.
