deceivedguy...

PayPal is really for donations only...the upgrades usually come from cc's.

The system that is currently in place is for the various upgrades that are paid in full at that time. You would need to upgrade for the level you would like and at anytime you can cancel that upgrade and opt for a different one.

I plan to donate or upgrade regardless because this site is needed by so many. If I upgrade will I get access to the investigative tips or do I still need 50 posts? I love this site and it has helped me so much but I'm not a frequent poster unless I feel like I have something vital to contribute. It could take a year to get to 50 and I feel like the investigation tips are needed in the early stages lol

hopeful325...

If you upgrade you would still need the 51 legitimate posts to gain access into I-tips. Getting to 51 isn't that hard when you're offering support to others

Can I pay for Premium Access with one of those store-bought CC's?

My lawyer advised me not to use our joint CC's until further notice, since they are in my H's name. He advised that any CC purchase I make should go through a generic card, so as not to leave a paper trail.

This makes sense, since my H just up and left in July, and I don't know anything about his financial doings, so the lawyer suggests that I should do the same.

Is this possible? I'm ready to roll with the payment right now!

LumpyLola,

I chatted with Mangled Heart about this and he is unsure if a generic card would work due to verification steps. He said that you could try it and see. I'm sorry that the answer isn't a clear yes or no.

Oh dear... I sure hope it will work. I love this site, and all the warm support I've gotten here...and I'd especially love to upgrade to Premium!

Is there some other way, then? Perhaps by money order?

I'm surprised to find that no one else has asked about this yet, considering that lots of BS's here mention that they are trying to keep their post-A financial transactions a secret from their WS's.

If you can find out anything else about this, please let me know.

Thanks!

I need help with my account. I think my card declined one month (October?) and I've since had a payment come out (November) but my premium access hasn't been restored. I didn't realize November had come out until just now (flaky!).

I've noticed that some members stories on their profile page are full of <p></p> tags replacing blank lines.

Then it happened to mine. I finally got around to finding the problem: Go to your profile, choose SImplicity, edit your story, bang! paragraph tags.

The tags do not show when reviewing your story in SImplicity, but switch back to the general interface and there they are, in all of their paragraphy glory.

thanks!

Is the PM function part of premium access? I can't seem to find a way to PM.

Also, I have never found anything in the healing library other than FAQ. I can never find the links other members refer me to.

I am certain the problems are on my part, what do I need to do differently?

The PM function is available to all members over 51 posts. Click on the two smiley faces to the right of the username you want to PM.

Also, I have never found anything in the healing library other than FAQ. I can never find the links other members refer me to.

The Healing Library has numerous links. By default you (general term) are taken to the FAQ's...but just click on any of the Titles in there. Articles, Books, Links, Abbreviations, etc.

Hi, I'm having trouble trying to upgrade to premium. I keep getting an address error come up - probably because my state has 3 initials and not 2 (I'm in Australia). Any suggestions?

I don't know if this is the place to do this. Probably preaching to the converted.

I would encourage all to help keep this site running. Our ICs are $120 - $180/hour (Canadian) plus a 2 hour drive one-way. IMO any contribution to this site is a bargain. It is more than a bargain. It is a value proposition. I have access 24 hours a day. The people here have personal experience whether BS or WS. It is a huge support group. The leads to other information, the different perspectives whether I agree with them or not, the guidance, 2X4s, the mods and guides are priceless.

There are some here who probably can't afford the cost of a cup of coffee. But others, like myself, can afford much more than that. IMO it is a compassionate thing to make sure they can get the access they so dearly need (just as I do).
