Is it a bad thing feeling more unconcerned rather than trusting? I mean It’s always wishful thinking that the truth is being told. However, I feel as if I don’t even really care or stress if it’s true or not because whatever lie will happen if determined enough anyways. Not as if I can just always prevent a lie from taking place so why bother caring?

It could be many things. It could be depression. It could be that you've hit the Plain of Lethal Flatness (POLF), which you can read about in the Healing Library. It could be a reaction from PTSD.

I just read your brief profile, I can understand where you are coming from after your WW has lied so much.

What is SHE doing to make you feel safe in the marriage.

It takes years to move through infidelity, and you are raising the AP's child, a double whammy.

Be sure to take care of you.

Just read your profile and I am speechless. I an against abortion when it's used for convenience and you are one hell of a human being for taking on the responsibility of raising a child that you did not father.

A word of warning. I remember reading a court case wherein a man discovered he was not the child's father (I think the kid was 7) so he filed for divorce. A judge ordered him to pay child support as he had been supporting the child for the past several years.

Please speak with an attorney and ask this question. This is not something you want to learn in the middle of a divorce.

ETA Found the story,my details were a little off
