Has anyone tried one of the online courses or even in person weekends for affair recovery? I’ve seen ones called Harboring Hope and a few others. I am in IC and so is my WS but I wondered if I should try one of those to help my healing along. I’m doing fairly well but I still have a lot down moments.

Harboring Hope is from Rick Reynolds at
Affairrecovery. We did the EMS group course. I would say it is beneficial - mostly to the WS because they have to really face up to the harm they have caused Lots of tears and reflection. So overall it was helpful but I was very turned off by the conservative Christian references and references to Satan. Plus they say infidelity is far more prevalent in religious communities because the "forbidden fruit " …. Like it’s giving permission because "the devil made me do it " ( my interpretation ) but overall I still think the group support was worth it and my husband esp felt it was helpful. Not sure if this helps but my 2 cents
