Hey everyone,
I wanted to share a book I read that resonated with me. It's called "Are You Done Being an Asshole?" and it's not your conventional book on infidelity. The author, a betrayed spouse, tells it like it is and holds her betrayer husband accountable for his actions and the pain they caused in a raw and unfiltered way.
What's unique about this book is that it dives deep into their journey of healing, forgiveness, and rebuilding trust. It discusses the hard work needed to recover from infidelity and doesn't shy away from difficult truths. The author's writing style is refreshing and well-written; she gets it.
I can't recommend it enough for anyone trying to heal from infidelity. Reading about their challenges and how they worked through them together was incredibly insightful and empowering.
If you're looking for a book that offers a candid and honest perspective on infidelity recovery, I highly recommend checking it out.
It's available on Amazon, and you can also listen to it on Audible if you prefer audiobooks.
Let me know if you decide to read it or if you have any other book recommendations on this topic!

Just finished this one, it felt very much like the 21st generation X edition of how to help your spouse heal from your affair.
It was short and snappy and filled with some brutality. I listened to it on spotify whilst on the way to work and almost crashed when she gave out her public service announcement at the end of chapter one, wasnt expecting that level of language and downright directness but it's good so would recommend to any new WS out there to really give it a read/listen.
The only thing I have been left wondering though is what ever happened to the family dog!!!!
