Mother nature couldn't wait one day! We got a mix of rain, snow and mini hail.

Always a chilly Halloween in Canada!

I wanted to share a photo of Big D in his costume but I can't figure out how to share the link to the photo on my FB page. It keeps opening thr app instead of letting me access the photo through Chrome like I did when doing SPF. So annoying!

Anyways, I'm just to excited not to at least describe it.

So we had all gone out for costumes last month. He decided to be a pirate. We got all the stuff. I had a pirates ship you wear I found years ago.

Since dd didn't find anything she liked at one store we went to another and she found a Godzilla costume.

Big D is a Godzilla freak! He has all the figures and knows all the characters and enjoys all the old movies that we have that aren't even in English.

So needless to say, no more piate. Instead little M went as the pirate.

Anyone who knows Godzilla knows he has the blue atomic breath. To make that we got battery powered mini LED lights, painted them blue and then attached them all the way down the spines on the back and along the tail. The battery pack I attached to his arm so he could turn it on and off when he wanted.

OMG it looks awesome. And no way he could be missed walking around in the dark.

Little M rocked the pirate lol

DS got a gilly suit and went as a large bush lmao

Dd found a zombie bride costume and I did her make up. She stayed after school and went trick or treating with a friend. Once we were done we went and picked her up.

The three kids and I did more houses in town then we have ever done. They each have a huge bag of junk food lol. And the score on chocolate bars this year rocks! Talk about sugar highs lmao 🤣

I love Halloween! Next year I'm dressing up. I'm short enough that DD told me no one would know I'm an adult. Lol

Oh Dragn this made me smile so big. I'm so glad that you and your sweet kiddos are finding some joy... Lord knows you all deserve some!

Every day isn't Halloween but I'm wishing you so many more days of joy and fun in the year ahead!

We always dress up for Halloween at my work and the residents love it. They judge the costume contest, with individual and group prizes given. Then we have Trunk or Treat at church and we try to coordinate with JM, me, DS and the dogs. With everything we’ve had going on, we didn’t have time or money to put anything together. I got up yesterday morning planning to just wear my uniform when I got an idea. Black leggings, a black long sleeve tunic, and a cape (black half slip fastened with binder clips 🤣🤣🤣🤣). I used eyeliner and black eye shadow for a "mask" and then made an "F" just below my eye.

"I’m FatGirl" is what I said all day, in that throaty Batman voice. 🤣🤣🤣

Dragn I’m so glad y’all had a good Halloween. ❤️

That is AWESOME! Man, wish we could see the Godzilla!

Halloween was so much fun here too, my daughter went as a kangaroo- she really just wanted to be comfy in a onesie! Son (8th grader) went with his buddies as Master Chief from Halo. He said it would be his last year going... but he said that last year, so we'll see. DS went with his buddies around his friend's subdivision. DD and I went with her buddy around our little downtown. Downtown is something of a local phenomenon- tons of the houses in the historical district go ALL OUT! We saw Beetlejuice with full on sawed in half show girl costume on the couch, a Ghostbusters house with inflatable marshmallow man and homemade skyline. I think my favorite was the house with a dude dressed as Elton John belting out the classics while rocking out on the keyboard!

We're all pooped and have a TON of sugar we don't need to eat... And, best of all, no rain/sleet/snow this year! It was frosty, but there was no wind- perfect weather!

And... a BUSH? HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA! laugh laugh grin I love her sense of humor! That is AWESOME!

Glad you had a fun night with your kids!!!

Love your sense of humor HFFSC!!

MIgander, that sounds like so much fun!!

We don't get trick or treaters out where we live so we go to DD's house with goodies and set up shop with her in her driveway. I love handing out candy and seeing all the costumes!! It's great to see some of the older kids still coming and having a good time. They were all polite and patient when they had to wait behind a group of littles examining all the choices. grin

It's kind of sad to see so many less houses participating. Almost every house used to be lit up and this year only about 25% had lights on.

Halloween was a bust here. I live 5 houses from an elementary school but only got about 8 kids last night. Most of my neighbors don’t give out candy, so the kids skip my block. Bummer for me. All were cute, but one girl did a perfect Wednesday Adams.

Dragn—. Google the bushman of San Francisco. He’s a local legend. He passed away a few years ago, but his schtick was hilarious. My nephew got spooked by him when he was 12 or 13 and it was a riot.

Glad you all had fun!

DD wants to sit down along the sidewalk and scare people. I'm surprised he didn't try to do that last night lol. He did run into another person wearing a gilly suit and they fist bumped. It was a huge deal for him. He's been havibg a very rough go lately and this really made his evening.

Many of the homes in our small town were lit up. I took video of one place that had hauligraphic floating ghosts in their window and moving ghouls along the driveway.

One place goes all out every year. She does the entire front and then a haunted garage. She was taking little M through (doing one at a time this year) and I got startled by a person in a werewolf costume. There's many full size figures all around but out of the corner of my eye I saw him move. The kids thought it was great until he stood up. Must have been a good 6 feet tall. At least this time they didnt scream and run away when the large spider jumped out at them lol

It was a great night.

Dd had fun with her friend and got lots of treats. They all slept good last night too 😴
