For some reason I was reflecting back tonight and don’t think I ever came back and said thank you for everything the people on this forum did for me. It has been about 3 years and life has changed a lot and almost all for the better.

I met a wonderful woman who is a great fit and got married a short time ago. I am blessed with 2 wonderful step-children who call me dad in addition to the 2 I share custody with my ex.

No it isn’t always easy. New marriage and news kids can be a challenge but I am loving it. I would never go back and change things from happening if I could. My life is very happy.

Amazingly it is my ex who is bitter and tries to cause issues mostly through the kids. So happy I did the therapy and was able to let all that anger go. It was such a burden.

For all those struggling keep your head up and do what is right no matter how hard it is. Looking back with no regrets for my actions is so refreshing. I don’t really believe in karma but you definitely reap what you sow.

I wish I remembered the names of all the people who chimed in to thank them specifically, but it has been so long. God Bless all of you.

I gave her 7 years of everything I had. I will not give her one day more.

Glad to hear a positive update for you.

Your situation was so awful b/c she lived across the street if I remember correctly. I always admired your ability to focus on what is best for your kids.

Here’s to the good life 🍺

And of course the XW is trying to be a thorn in your side. You ended up happy. Her? Not so much and she’s witnessing it. Now she’s having second thoughts. Oh well it’s too late for her.

Thanks for the update. It’s great that you are doing so well. I am not surprised that you have moved forward with success. Despite the horrible, cruel circumstances your exWW heaped on you, you handled yourself with class and did your best for your boys. Hope your boys are doing well. Your Ex will continue her downward spiral. Good luck.

Never bother with things in your rearview mirror. Your best days are on the road in front of you.

RSD: Great to see an update from you! I knew you were going to...Rock (ha!) your new beginnings. Precisely because you were so level-headed and willing to do the painful work that healing requires.

If it suits, hope you will check in from time to time - I know others could benefit from your example of strength and class.
