I have read this book no less than 5 times all the way though. Cry every single time! Wish so badly her mother would write another one just to update us on how she is and all she has accomplished through her charity for Laci. It's a book you won't be able to put down!

I love books based on true stories. I'm going to look for this one.
DS, you are forever in my heart. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit with me. I will always try to live by the example you have set. I love you and miss you every day and am sorry you had to go so soon, it just doesn't seem fair.

You will love it....SO in depth, you feel like you are going through it with her.

I will get this, thanks.
The book that helped me understand a wayward was a book about her husband " a deadly game", written by a prosecutor.
I think reading both books will really help me.
Thank you.

I also read Blood Brother: 33 Reasons My Brother Scott Peterson Is Guilty by Anne Bird. A very good read. Many of the events took place in an area that I grew up in and still lived in at the time, there were some errors in it with location details most would never know. Still a good book and another look at Lacy's short life.

I'm currently reading this book. When I read your post, I checked it out from the library. I'm about half way through.
I am fascinated by this case because my XWH reminds me so much of Scott Peterson, in the way he was Mr. Perfect, Mr. Wonderful, and then suddenly I figure out that he's a cat killing sociopath. Everything I'm reading about Scott Peterson sounds exactly like my XWH, to the point that I almost feel lucky to be alive.

Marriages that start this way, stepping over the bodies of loved ones as the giddy couple walks down the aisle, are not likely to last.

Exactly how I felt, sparkysable!
I realized OW and xh go thru life in a series of moving into one life/family, then into another - with great ease, no less.
The book helped me to grey rock xh and ow, go NC, and to stop poking the bear.
I feel so lucky to be alive- if they wanted me dead, they could have easily done it, I was so trusting.
